Desperately seeking high quality freshly roasted coffee beans

Does anyone in the DC area know where I can reliably get some high quality freshly roasted coffee beans? Potomac/Bethesda/Rockville would be ideal; I will venture into DC in necessary. Most of the boutique coffee shops I have been hitting seem to be hit and miss in terms of quality and freshness. I would appreciate any suggestions, feel free to comment or email corey@coreyjf.com

Try Carmen’s in the Woodley Gardens shopping center on Nelson St in Rockville. While you’re there try one of their awesome gelatos!

*waves* Here via John Scalzi’s blog – I am coffee obsessed to the point where I roast my own, most of the time, but in my small town my only other option for freshly roasted is online, and there are several fantastic online suppliers I’d recommend – Coffee Emergency, Intelligentsia, Metropolis – google any of these, and they’ll come up. I’m at work and don’t have the links handy, but you can’t go wrong with any of these excellent roasters.
