I admit it. I love my Keurig. While not all K-cup are created equal, some actually make a pretty decent cup of coffee. While I know I am doing the equivalent of a wine lover admitting they enjoy a good box of wine, so be it. Is it spectacular coffee, no, but it really is good enough. I haven’t forsaken my French-Press or Espresso Maker. When I have the time to make, enjoy, and cleanup after, a really good cup of coffee, I will grind my favorite locally roasted coffee* and extract the wonderful flavor in either my French-Press or Espresso Maker. But most mornings I will happily settle for a quick and decent cup of coffee, no mess, no fuss.
* Swings Italian Espresso Roast makes for great pressed coffee and expresso. Their MESCO (M.E. Swings Company Original) is my favorite lighter roast.
I’m a coffee snob and I love my tassimo. But no boxed wine here.
