OK so today I am off the Prozac and officially started the low dose of Cymbalta. I’m hoping this will be the mood elevator I need. I will fill the RX for the new dose ASAP. I am having a good day today. Last night I sat outside and wrote the latest Egret Poem. I had fun writing it. Best mood I was in for a while. My only hope is that it is not too scary. Feel free to read Egret had a bad dream and let me know. So I sat outside on my patio. Made a makeshift fire-pit out of an old Weber grill, and enjoyed a cool summer night. For most of my life I had a dream of working on my NEXT best selling novel from the deck of my beach house. Sadly I gave up on that dream. But I still have the beach house fantasy and the writing is back, though I realize my passion is for writing for children. Maybe I will have that beach house some day, maybe I won’t. But writing on the patio, not so bad. So that is my latest mental health update.

Simi’s dream is to make enough from her writing to buy a Scottish castle to write (and live) in…. First step is to get something published
That is the goal. But I am taking my time and building an audience. I haven’t even started looking for an agent yet.

Good luck. It can take time to find the right balance of medication, and I hope you find what works for you soon.
And good luck finding an agent! I’m on that journey and it’s not for the weak.

Thanks. I know it can take time. Good luck finding and agent. I know that can take a while. I have been avoiding starting until I could really get myself balanced. That and I just wanted to write without the extra pressure it takes finding an agent or publisher.
