I have been blogging for a very long time, but have only been blogging regularly for a little while. I’ve gotten a couple nasty remarks in the past, but by geolocating the IP address and paying attention to the writing style I strongly suspect I know who it was and believe it was a personal attack against me by someone I know. That said, the comment I received last night was clearly good old fashion trolling. I forwarded it my friend Jodi and asked her if she has ever gotten anything like this before. She basically said, yes, it comes with the territory. While that sucks, and the troll’s comments did bother me at first, I eventually started to look at it another way this morning. My website has finally gained enough popularity that someone bothered trolling it. So I am actually choosing to take that as a complement.
