Updated #4 – thanks for all of the advise
For my Paranormal (Non Bodice ripper) Romance novelette. Please give me your opinions of the cover. I have never done a cover before so lay the criticism one me.

With that book title it better be a bodice ripper and the use of an unfurling rose on the cover hints in the same direction. The font is not (imho) a good choice and regardless should not all be the same size. Title largest, sub-heading slightly smaller and name of the author smaller, separated and away from the main title. Remember, unless you are a major author (thing Stephen King), your name in big font will do nothing to sell the book or attract folks to it.
Nope, its strictly PG
I like number 4
and evidently I hit a key which caused my comment to submit…The white font on a black background with a single red item on the cover has an aura of Twilight which was for the most part PG, so this is probably a good choice.

I’m one of the few who actually liked twilight. But the stores are very different. No teen Angst. I labeled it a paranormal romance but it is not scary and it is not erotic by any stretch of the imagination. It’s really a good old fashion love story with Ghosts, soul collectors and Angels and a lot of Jewish Mysticism.

I am amused by you saying you’re “one of the few that actually liked Twilight.” did you mean men? authors? I know you didn’t mean teenaged girls.

Yeah, I meant Authors

That’s what I am going with
I like the fourth one. The rose image is from a view we are not used to seeing. I like to focus on the petals, with the green leafs fuzzy in the background.

I like the 4th the best but use the font from the 3rd instead.
