If you look at any social media site or my blog I pretty clearly say I’m not an 80′s actor. I also have a recent picture in my profile and the “other” Corey Felman and I look nothing a like. The other day a Social Media friend @ninjapoodles told me NPR was calling my name. So I clicked over to their page and they were asking for people who shared names with someone famous to share their experiences. I don’t recall what I said, and don’t have the time to check but I will post a comment thread of one of my new favorite blogs http://momminitup.com/ - one of @JennyItUp recent articles.

“I am green with envy that Corey Feldman reads your blog. I guess I’ll just have to settle for Miss USA, Kim Seelbrede and Kim Kardashian.
Oh well.
UP”
My response was “Well I am the REAL Corey Feldman, but I’ve never been in an 80′s movie” which is something similar to my typical response.
The timing of the NPR post was funny because the next day I got this email, and yes I get things like this all of the time.
“Hey Corry. Nice to see your connected to G+. You do not know me personally but have sooken to your agent, Scott, several times about the [Redacted] Movie Production. I like your posts and will continue to follow. [Redacted]
Now I’m not one to be touchy about spelling mistakes, if you read my blog you clearly know I live in a glass house. But I usually try and get the person’s name spelled right. But if you really follow my posts, do you not see the very clear picture of me or my tag line “Not an 80′s Actor” Or how about the fact I talk about my life as a Suburban DC dad, HR Pro and wannabe writer. Help me understand [Redacted] why you might think I am a bad news bear, lost boy, dreaming a little dream about Gremlins?
